Design & Developer Engineer
As an Engineer at Epiroc, Mining and Rock Excavation Service division, you support our Product Managers with a variety of engineering tasks. A lot of focus will be on creation of customized kits and product upgrades for machine rebuilds, including creating the bill of material for these products. You will also be involved in a variety of different engineering tasks with focus on improve and increase our aftermarket business and market share.
In order to succeed with our mission the engineers are involved in daily improvements and support to other departments. Example of this could be to support Technical Documentation with engineer input in their work, Technical Service with engineering expertise and development of service tools and Strategic Sourcing with technical knowledge on parts replacement and supplier evaluation. You can also be involved with our suppliers regarding spare parts level and creation of kits and needs to use input from suppliers, R&D, service and marketing to determine with parts to supply. In all, the MRS engineer supports our culture where innovation, collaboration and commitment contributes to customer satisfaction.
Skills & Knowledge
You have some years of relevant experience from product development and good skills in project leadership and people management. You have university degree in mechanical or hydraulic engineering. You have excellent verbal and written communications skills in both English and Swedish and can cooperate with both colleagues and sub suppliers in a professional manner in order to build and maintain good contacts to benefit future relations. We value experience and technical knowledge in our different products and applications as well as experience of working with a wide variety of Epiroc systems.
