My name is Jonas Trepp and I am leading our Metal Fabrication and Air Line Infrastructure team within R&D. Our vision is that by developing, maintaining and attracting the right people, with the right competence, we can take responsibility for that our current and future product portfolios deliver unmatched customer value.
Our team consists of eleven individuals working in different roles such as Mechanical Engineer, Lab Engineer and Coordinator. In the group, we work in small teams where quite often a Mechanical Engineer and Lab Engineer drive the development together for both new projects and in our improvement our existing portfolio.
To strengthen the Team we are now looking for a Mechanical Engineer to take on the responsibilities as Technical Product Owner for part of our portfolio.

About the position
- Drive mechanical design of Engineering activities, such as: technical improvements, develop of new variants, quality issues, support to Operations (production, sourcing (et.c.)
- Have a good understanding of customer needs
- Deliver products/solutions with good mechanical designs following legal and regulatory demands
- Participate in the product development projects implementing features with unrivalled customer value.
- Contribute to long term technical activities
- Support and work actively with our plants in Tierp and Buadpest.
- Support and visit our customer centers and customers both domestic and abroad.
We would also like to see applicants with knowledge in strength calculations and simulation.
What you need to succeed
We are looking for an analytical team player who is thorough and methodical in their work. You see possibilities, are entrepreneurial and take initiative in finding a solution. You take responsibility for your own tasks and raise flags when issues cannot be handled due to lack of resource, increase of cost, or quality is at risk.
We believe that you have good understanding of mechanical design and systems and holds at least a bachelor degree in mechanical engineering. You have experience in working with 3D-CAD preferably Creo and you are fluent in both English and Swedish sine you are communicating in both languages.
Experinece working with SAP, PTC-Windchill, MatLab and Ansys is a plus.
